You may be eligible for up to $30/month towards your Internet and mobile services
As part of our ongoing commitment to keeping you connected, Centric Fiber is proud to participate in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides eligible households a credit of up to $30/month towards your Internet and mobile services. We're making it simple for both new and existing customers to apply this credit towards Centric Fiber Internet.
The Affordable Connectivity Program or ACP is a longer-term replacement for the Emergency Broadband Benefit, designed to help keep families connected to the Internet. Qualified households can receive a monthly credit of up to $30/month towards their Internet and mobile services.
To qualify, a member of your household must meet certain criteria. Qualifying criteria include a household member's qualification for the Lifeline program (such as Medicaid and SNAP), free and reduced-price school lunch program, or by your household income.
You will still need to connect services and apply to enroll following your eligibility check.
Frequently asked questions
ACP is a longer-term replacement for the federal Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB). It was designed to help lower-income households connect to the Internet and stay connected. The Program provides eligible customers of participating broadband providers up to a $30/month ($75/month for Tribal lands) credit toward Internet and mobile services for the duration of the program. It will last for as long as the Federal Government funds the Program, which is expected to be several years. The amount of the credit depends on the rate for the services selected.
To qualify, a member of your household must meet at least one of the following criteria:
Qualifies for the federal Lifeline program, including:
Medicaid
SNAP
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
Federal Public Housing Assistance
Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit
Tribal Programs for Residents for Qualifying Tribal Lands
Receives benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision
Received a federal Pell Grant in the current award year
In order to confirm your eligibility for ACP, we will have to share certain qualifying information about you with the Federal Government.
You will be eligible for an ACP credit for so long as you continue to qualify for the Program. The federal government may periodically seek to confirm continued eligibility. The Program will last for as long as the Federal Government provides funding which is expected to last several years. Enrolled customers will be notified at least 30 days before the Program ends.

ACP applies to monthly charges for Centric Fiber Internet and leased Internet equipment. Qualified households will receive a total credit of up to $30/month towards these services or up to $75/month for qualified households within Tribal lands. The amount of the credit depends on the rate for the services selected.
The ACP benefit will first be applied to the Internet portion of your bill. Any remaining ACP benefit will be applied to remaining eligible services or equipment.
At this time, we are not participating in the device subsidy program associated with ACP. Our focus is to provide broadband connectivity across all tiers of Internet service for as many eligible customers as possible.
The ACP credit cannot be used for taxes and fees, or any non-Internet Centric Fiber products or equipment, including Centric Fiber TV and GigaCall. The following types of customers cannot apply their ACP credit toward Internet service:
Customers who receive Internet service provided to them by their residential building and do not have an individual Centric Fiber account
Customers whose Internet account is in voluntary seasonal suspend status
Customers whose Internet service is provided through an organization or school sponsored program
The ACP credit of up to $30/month ($75/month in Tribal lands) can only be applied to the Internet services portion of your bundled Centric Fiber services. You are still responsible in full for any portion of your bill not covered by ACP.
The ACP credit will never be higher than the monthly cost for your Centric Fiber Internet, and leased Centric Fiber Internet equipment.
Yes, if your Centric Fiber services are on a promotional rate at the time you enroll in ACP, your promotional rate will continue to apply. If your promotion ends while you are on ACP and your Internet service rolls to a higher monthly rate, your monthly ACP credit will increase accordingly up to $30/month ($75/month in Tribal lands).
Yes, you can change your Internet services to any eligible tier and still retain the ACP credit up to $30/month ($75/month in Tribal lands).
ACP credits are nontransferable. The ACP credit is limited to one per household.
Moving does not change your eligibility to receive ACP. However, you may need to re-enroll in ACP through Centric Fiber at your new address. If you move into an area not serviceable by Centric Fiber, you should check with your new Internet service provider to find out if they are also a participating provider in ACP and how to enroll.
The benefit is limited to one per household and can only be applied to one provider at a time. You may choose to transfer your ACP benefit to another participating provider; however, you may only transfer once per service month with limited exceptions. You can obtain broadband service subsidized by ACP from any participating provider of your choice.
To unenroll from your ACP credit, please contact your community's GigaGuide or call our customer service support line.
You may be de-enrolled from ACP through Centric Fiber for various reasons, including the following:
If you no longer meet the eligibility requirements of ACP.
If you notify another service provider that you wish to transfer your ACP benefit to them from Centric Fiber.
If you request to be de-enrolled from ACP through Centric Fiber.
If the monthly cost of your Internet service is entirely covered by the ACP benefit and you have not used the service at least once in the past 30 days.
Once you receive confirmation of your enrollment, you could see the ACP credit on your very next bill. However, depending on when you enroll, the credit may not appear until your second bill after enrollment.
If you choose to continue with your current level of Internet and/or mobile services once the Program ends or if you are no longer eligible, you will be responsible for payment at the full and current rates, terms and conditions. You can always choose to cancel your service by contacting your community's GigaGuide or calling our customer service support line.
